The winners and highly commended in this year’s Business Travel People Awards were crowned at a glittering ceremony in London on September 15.

More than 360 people gathered at the Grand Connaught Rooms for the 15th year of the prestigious awards, which celebrate the best talent in business travel.

Awards were presented for 21 categories covering all corners of the industry and recognising individuals and teams who might not otherwise get the chance to shine.

Guests were treated to a welcome drinks reception, sponsored by Virgin Atlantic, before sitting down to a three-course meal.

Direct Travel was the Gold Sponsor for the evening and awarded a special ‘People’s Award’, giving all guests the chance to vote for someone in the room on the night who has inspired them. The award went to Paul Webb, Senior Account Manager, Agency Sales, Delta Air Lines, who won a £500 Amazon voucher.

Bronze category sponsors for 2026 were ALTOUR, Blacklane, Clarity, DOMO, Focus Travel Partnership, INNTEL, SAP Concur, SITU, Sirius Talent Solutions, South Western Railway, Talma and United Airlines. Representatives from each sponsor was invited to present an award.

The Wandering Hands band were back by popular demand and played personalised tunes as each winner came to the stage.

Next year’s Business Travel People Awards will take place at the Grand Connaught Rooms on September 14 2027.
